Tim began photography in his early teens using his father's Pentax H2, his enthusiasm for the activity sparked by weekend photo expeditions the two would take together. Honing his skills in high school and college as a yearbook and newspaper photographer, he gravitated towards his real love--outdoor and nature photography. After 35 years of hobbyist and semi-pro activity, he has had many images published, most recently being featured on a number of covers of the South Dakota Medical Journal.
