Phil Brown is passionate about photography and passionate about nature, to listen to him talk about what he does is to be taken on a journey of discovery. To walk with him is to truly enter the world of nature – see the things he sees and hear the things he hears. He glimpses beauty where it is not always obvious and captures it for us to behold and marvel at forever. Phil is a photographic explorer, always looking for that elusive shot that no one else has or sees. For every image there is a story behind it – a days wait in the rain for the right moment when the rain drop glistened like a crystal or a game of hide and seek with a tomtit. When you journey with him there is silence – he is always looking, always listening, always searching through the lens of his camera for a moment-in-time. Suddenly he will raise his hand to stop and while you have not seen or heard anything he has captured the essence of his subject.
