2007- my old digicam perishes and while searching the internet for a new one an old wish came back to life. Still afraid my skills weren`t good enough I choose a socalled bridge. After some months of more serious photographing, devolping skills and a more than serious interest in macro my girlfriend wanted to go on holyday to Costa Rica. The plans for Costa Rica were becoming reallity in early 2008. I also felt I had hit the wall with the canon (sorry `bout that). This thing was fun and fun to learn with but for this upcoming trip I needed something much better, a DSLR and fast so I could learn to know it. After some weeks of research and testing I got myself a K100d with the 18-55 and a Tamron 70-300. Just 6 months left for practice... Meanwhile, this trip is over and I got seriously hooked to photograpy. Besides macro also wildlife became a favourite form of photograpy. Recently the K100d was upgraded to a K20d.
