Photography and nature have always had a great attraction to me, combining both passions was a logical step. To me it is a hobby, an addiction, probably an ancient hunting desire buried deep in me. Within photography I have no specialisation. I am the opportunist who hikes through nature and takes pictures of things that come along. Besides nature I like making portraits. Recently I became a proud member of the Ranaphoto team (www.ranaphoto.net) Gear: In 1975 my first SLR, a Pentax Spotmatic F, followed by an ME and MX. Two workhorses that are still in use. Made the step to digital with an *ist ds and later a K10D lenses from 18 to 300mm.
