Fredrik Björk

Stockholm, Järfälla - Sweden

I was born 1973 in Stockholm Sweden. I´m a professional webdesigner and an amateur photographer. In 1992 I got my first Pentax as a birthday present, the Pentax SLR Z10. Ten years later I upgraded to the SLR MZ-5. In 2005 I bought my first DSLR, the *IstD and I just loved going digital. The first weeks I took a few hundred pictures, a day. Such possibility to experiment without thinking of any cost to develop the films. In early 2007 I upgraded to the K10D. I prefer taking close-up pictures but also nature and landscape. The last two years I have also got in to abstract photography. I recently got a diploma in a competition. A serie of three pictures by the theme "Green". I will put them here as soon as I can. My opinion about people using Pentax cameras in Sweden is that many people don´t, they rather buy Nikon or Canon. Why? I don´t really know.
