I'm a generalist. I've been fortunate to photograph a broad range of subjects during my twenty years in photography. Based in Kentucky, I've worked in portraiture, travel, nature, sports, fashion, features, and more specialized areas of photography like museum artifact, and artwork, documentation. I have interest in light and shapes, rather than a specific subject field, so that's how I approach my photography. But if you held a gun to my head and made me choose, I'd say I am partial to travel. Being away from home, and the home-associated routines, is very freeing, and I enjoy exploring, looking for scenes that I don't see every day. It's a way of taking the location back home with me.
