Oren McGonigal

A country boy from S.E. Idaho transplanted in the Emerald City of the northwest U.S.A. With a life long love of nature and wildlife and as an avid hiker/scrambler, photography seemed a natural fit. I used a P&S for a few years and loved the ability to capture the beauty of the places I visited. The K10D ( purchased beginning of 2008 ) has opened the door to many other aspects of photography. One thing I love about photography is that it requires one to "stop and smell the roses" so to speak. I view things much differently now that I have camera in hand. I have always loved nature, but the beauty of it is now magnified by the study of detail through photography. As a photographer I would call myself an hobbyist/enthusiast. But my enthusiasm boarders on OCD :-) There is much to learn and experience!!
