Jay Taylor
United States

Architect by profession with Master's and B.A education. I first became interested in photography as a young child fascinated by the images in National Geographic magazine. Received my first Pentax K1000 while In high school and learned about developing & printng in the darkroom. In college my area of focus was shared between architecture, family and travel photos. With the advent of digital photography sparked a renewed interest in my hobby. The Pentax DSLR's compatibility with older lenses and reputation for high quality optics I found quite appealing. I consider myself a very serious amatuer with aspirations of gaining enough knowledge & experience to have my photography appear in a publication. My life long facination with nature parallels my photographic intrests. My current focus is on wildlife with birds as a particular area of focus which I've been concentrating on over the past year.
